Human Remains Discovered In Missoula (2024)

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page yesterday that human remains were discovered "in a rural location" near Missoula Sunday afternoon.

"On the afternoon of June 29th, 2024, the Missoula County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a rural location on Deep Creek Rd in Missoula for a discovery of possible human remains. Detectives were requested to respond to the area to take over the investigation and process the scene. Human remains were located but an identification could not be determined at this time. The investigation will continue, and information will be updated when available."
